On the 9^th of May 2023, the Israeli Army Defense Forces carried out a military operation against the Islamic Jihad organization in Gazza. At the end of five days of work under strict emergency situation, the Barzilai Medical Center renewed its usual activity. Fifty four injured people were treated during this operation.
